In The Beginning...

Today was the day. After sleeping in until 8:30 (for the last time), stopping by the drug store for a few remaining provisions, and eating a final meal (Island Chicken Sandwich, and a Dr. Pepper) we dropped Sam off at the front steps of the Provo Missionary Training Center.

Finishing up his lunch. He's feeling a little nervous.

His friend Elder Potter was there to welcome him on the curb, which was pretty cool. Then after a few quick hugs and last goodbyes, he was gone.

There are a lot of people back here in the US that will miss Sam for the next two years. But I'm pretty sure there are even more in Argentina that will be grateful to have him.
